japanese game companies list

Hi,

I wanted to know if someone knows where I can find a list of game companies in Japan ?
I've found gamedevmap, but it's not often updated and not 100% complete or accurate.
I wanted to apply at game companies in Japan, and hope to find companies more open to hire westerners.

Hi Seiky,

In doing research for the Japanmanship book I'm still working on I can tell you: no, there isn't a single, up-to-date and extensive Japanese game company list, sorry.
We have started making one ourselves for the book but I honestly can't tell you how long that will take to be released.

Wikipedia does have a list. It's a good start, but like James pointed out, it's probably not up to date.
